About Us 国际微无创医学会简介

The International Society of Minimally Invasive and Virtual Surgery (ISMIVS, previously known as International Society of Minimally Invasive and Noninvasive Medicine) was founded in July 2013 at the gala of the 1st Yangtze International Summit of Minimally Invasive and Noninvasive Medicine in Chongqing, China. ISMIVS envisions to accelerating the progress in minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine by promoting research, education, communication, and international collaboration.
国际微无创医学会(ISMIVS)是在 2013 年 7 月在中国重庆召开的第一届国际微无创医学长江高峰论坛上宣布成立的,旨在通过学术研究、教育、交流以及国际合作加快微无创医学的发展。

In July 2023, the Young ISMIVS Committee was formally established in order to respond to the development trend of minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine, and further consolidate the core group of young physicians.

Professor Yu Xin, Deputy Director of the General Gynecology Center at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, conducted an in-depth exploration of the therapeutic advances in high-intensity focused ultrasound ablation for different subtypes of adenomyosis. By analyzing clinical data, she examined the variations in treatment response across subtypes and proposed personalized therapeutic strategies to enhance treatment efficacy.

Professor He Hongying from Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center Liuzhou Hospital, Professor Jin Haihong, Director of Gynecology at Qinhuangdao First Hospital, and Professor Zhang Chunlian from Shiyan Taihe Hospital engaged in a discussion session focused on optimizing focused ultrasound techniques for treating adenomyosis. They emphasized the critical role of multidisciplinary collaboration in enhancing ablation precision and reducing complications.

Professor Aixingzi Aili, Deputy Director of the HIFU Center at Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital, shared insights on long-term management of adenomyosis through focused ultrasound ablation combined with medication. She proposed that an integrated approach of “non-invasive treatment plus medication maintenance” can significantly alleviate symptoms and reduce recurrence rates.

Professor Tan Ee Ping, a senior minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgeon in Malaysia, presented the clinical practice of microwave ablation therapy for adenomyosis in Malaysia. She conducted a comparative analysis of the technical characteristics of microwave and HIFU technologies in terms of penetration depth and thermal field distribution.
马来西亚高级微创手术及机器人协助手术外科医生陈意萍教授介绍了马来西亚子宫腺肌症微波消融治疗的临床实践,对比分析了微波与HIFU在穿透深度和热场分布上的技术特点。
Professor Oliver Cruz from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Vice President Li Jingjing of Liuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Professor Yang Hongbo, Director of Gynecology at Huai'an Maternal and Child Health Hospital, discussed the application of ablation techniques in adenomyosis, as well as postoperative fertility assessment and long-term management strategies.

To investigate the factors influencing the volume reduction rate (VRR) at 12 months after ultrasound (US)-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for breast fibroadenoma (FA).

A retrospective analysis of 104 patients with 302 FAs who underwent US-guided HIFU from January 2021 to May 2023 was conducted. All patients received US assessment and contrast-enhanced US (CEUS) evaluation, and treatment information was recorded. VRR ≥ 80% was set as the dependent variable, while nineteen baseline- and treatment-related factors were considered as the independent variables. A logistic regression model was constructed to predict 12-month VRR.

All patients successfully underwent one-session HIFU. Significant differences were observed in volume, distance from the superficial margin of FA to skin, distance from the deep margin of FA to chest wall, mean power, energy efficacy factor, type of near-field acoustic pathway, and appearance of hyperechoic changes. Multivariate analysis revealed that type of near-field acoustic pathway, distance from the deep margin of FA to chest wall, and appearance of hyperechoic changes were independent predictors of the 12-month VRR after HIFU. The area under Receiver Operating Characteristic curve was 0.688.

This study reviews the outcome of a series of hysteroscopic adhesiolysis (HA) in an outpatient setting.

This is a retrospective case series study performed at a fertility center. A total of 1073 women with mild, moderate, or severe intrauterine adhesions (IUAs) underwent HA between January 2011 and December 2023. Fourteen women who underwent HA under regional or general anesthesia were excluded. The remaining 1059 women were scheduled for HA in an outpatient setting under conscious sedation and local anesthesia. At the end of the HA procedure, within 1 min, the severity of discomfort or pain was assessed using the visual analogue scale (VAS).

Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis was successfully performed under conscious sedation and local anesthesia in 1051 (97.9%) women during the study period. The mean age of the participants was 38.2 ± 5.25 years. The mean VAS score was 1.46 ± 1.18. In women with mild, moderate, and severe IUAs, the scores were 0.77, 1.42, and 2.49, respectively. In nine (0.9%) women, a uterine perforation occurred. Of the 618 (58.8%) women with complete follow-up, 140 (27.7%) conceived. In women with mild, moderate, and severe IUAs, the miscarriage rates were, respectively, 15.9%, 19.0%, and 60%. The live birth rates were 16.9%, 9.5%, and 1.4%, respectively.

Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis in an outpatient setting under conscious sedation and local anesthesia appears feasible and is well tolerated, with a low complication rate. Given the retrospective nature of the study, the results should be interpreted with caution. Future studies are needed to evaluate HA under conscious sedation and local anesthesia, including long-term fertility and reproductive outcomes.
在门诊条件下采用清醒镇静联合局部麻醉进行宫腔镜下粘连松解术具有可行性且耐受性良好,并发症发生率低。鉴于本研究为回顾性设计,结果解读需谨慎。未来需开展更多研究评估清醒镇静联合局部麻醉下宫腔镜治疗的长期生育及生殖结局。
