About Us 国际微无创医学会简介
The International Society of Minimally Invasive and Virtual Surgery (ISMIVS, previously known as International Society of Minimally Invasive and Noninvasive Medicine) was founded in July 2013 at the gala of the 1st Yangtze International Summit of Minimally Invasive and Noninvasive Medicine in Chongqing, China. ISMIVS envisions to accelerating the progress in minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine by promoting research, education, communication, and international collaboration.
国际微无创医学会(ISMIVS)是在 2013 年 7 月在中国重庆召开的第一届国际微无创医学长江高峰论坛上宣布成立的,旨在通过学术研究、教育、交流以及国际合作加快微无创医学的发展。

In July 2023, the Young ISMIVS Committee was formally established in order to respond to the trend of development of minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine, and further consolidate the core group of young physicians.
为顺应微无创医学发展的趋势,进一步凝聚中青年微无创医学骨干的力量,推动微无创医学的发展。2023年7月,国际微无创医学会“青年委员会”(以下简称“青委会”)正式成立。
As the youth force of the new era in the field of minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine, the Young ISMIVS Committee carries the important mission of enlightening medical innovation and leading the development of this field, and will become a solid pillar to promote the breakthroughs in minimally invasive and noninvasive medicine to new heights by virtue of its unique vitality and profound deposits.
青委会作为微无创领域新时代的青春力量,承载着启迪医学创新、引领微无创技术发展的重要使命,将凭借其独特的创新活力和深厚的专业积淀,成为推动微无创领域不断突破、迈向新高峰的坚实砥柱。

The first episode of the 2024 APAGE-ISMIVS HIFU Series Webinars kicked off on May 9th. Chaired by Prof. Chi-Chang Chang, the Superintendent of E-Da Da Chang Hospital, and Dr. Selva, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist of Mahkota Medical Center, the session discussed the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.
2024 年 5 月 9 日,今年首期 APAGE-ISMIVS 高强度聚焦超声系列会议正式拉开序幕。本期会议由义大医院张基昌院长和马来西亚仁爱医院妇产科顾问 Selva 医生共同主持,探讨宫颈癌的预防及治疗。
Prof. Chyi-Long Lee, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of APAGE and the Professor of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, discussed the advancements in cancer surgery, emphasizing the benefits of minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He highlighted the importance of standardization, surgeon proficiency, and the use of appropriate instrumentation for successful outcomes. He also affirmed the trend towards minimally invasive surgery in their department, particularly for early cancer cases.

Prof. Qiuling Shi, the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering, presented a brief overview of their community-based projects aimed at cervical cancer elimination, according to the WHO's 2030 goals. The discussion focused on the potential impact of treatment strategies on cervical cancer mortality rates. Then she discussed the importance of screening and treatment for women with HPV infection and shared that in China, despite high screening rates for breast and cervical cancer, the follow-up rate after a positive HPV test was limited. To address this, a cohort study was initiated in a low-income county in China with the aim of improving follow-up rates and identifying factors that influence treatment decisions.

Dr Xi Wang, the Head of the Medical Research Department of the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine of China, introduced the use of focused ultrasound for the treatment of cervical diseases, emphasizing its unique features such as short focal depth, no ionizing radiation, and minimal impact on surrounding tissue. She highlighted the effectiveness of this treatment in destroying diseased tissue while preserving healthy tissue, with low recurrence rates and improved peripheral nerve function. The treatment process, outcomes, and safety were also discussed.

New Perspective in Focused Ultraound 聚焦超声新视角
Feasibility and efficacy of ultrasound-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound of breast fibroadenoma
超声引导高强度聚焦超声治疗乳腺纤维腺瘤的可行性及有效性
The clinical outcome of 85 patients with 147 fibroadenomas with a follow-up time of more than 3 months was analyzed in this study. Fifty-two patients had one lesion, twenty-one patients hadtwo lesions and twelve patients had more than two lesions. During USgHIFU, the median localization time for all fibroadenomas was 3 min, and the median treatment time was 9 min.

No serious epidermal burns were observed in any of the patients. Based on CEUS or CEMRI imagingevaluation, the median NPV ratio was 100% .

Conclusion of the article is ultrasound-guided HIFU surgery is an effective and safe noninvasive alternative techniquefor the treatment of breast fibroadenoma.

This consensus work aims to guide clinicians involved in treating women with suspected endometriosis during the patient assessment, counselling and planning of surgical treatment strategies. The present work represents a Consensus Statement regarding the use of non-invasive imaging methods, particularly TVS and MRI, in the application of classification systems for the detection of DE.
