国际妇女节全球多中心远程协同聚焦超声手术保子宫公益行动

“The World is preoccupied with fighting COVID-19, climate change and economic uncertainties. However, women’s health and wellbeing should not be overshadowed by these events. While we cannot avoid sufferings of women caused by nature and sickness, we should lessen their pain with whatever means we can provide. 

“全球正专注于抗击新型冠状病毒疫情、应对气候变化和经济不稳定带来的挑战。然而，女性的健康和福祉不应被这些事情所遮盖而被忽略。尽管我们无法避免女性遭受自然和疾病带来的伤害，但是我们应尽所能提供一切方法减轻女性的痛苦。

We honour women with accolades like mother tongue, mother nature, mother earth and motherland. Let us pay tribute on International Women’s Day and honour women with “Mother Womb”, which is truly our very first home.  Science has enabled us to conserve the womb affected by many illnesses and diseases, let us come together as medical professionals to save Mother Womb and lessen her sufferings”

“母语”（mother tongue）、“大自然母亲”（mother nature）、“地球母亲”(mother earth)、“母国”(motherland)等词体现了我们对女性的尊重和赞扬。母亲的子宫无疑是我们每一个人的第一个家，因此，在即将到来的国际妇女节，我提倡“母亲子宫（mother womb）”一词，向全球女性致敬。科学技术的发展使得遭受众多疾病折磨的子宫得以保留不被切除。在此，我倡议所有医护人员携起手来，共同保卫母亲子宫，减轻女性痛苦！

In response to the call by Dr. Lee Keen Whye from Singapore, to remind us to care for women’s health and to pay a tribute to women across the globe, especially at the current challenging times of the COVID-19 outbreak, National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine of China  (NERCUM), Chongqing Branch of China News Services and Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co. Ltd along with the International Society for Minimally-Invasive and Virtual Surgery (ISMIVS),, are co-organizing and initiating an “IWD-HIFU” project.

为了响应新加坡李建威医生的号召，提醒大众关注女性健康，向全球女性致敬，特别是在抗击新型冠状病毒疫情的特殊时期，超声医疗国家工程研究中心（NERCUM）、中国新闻社重庆分社、重庆海扶医疗科技股份有限公司与国际微无创医学会（ISMIVS）联合组织并启动全球多中心远程协同聚焦超声手术保子宫公益行动（以下简称IWD-HIFU活动）

This event is for global HIFU centers to participate and provide HIFU treatment on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2020, for women with uterine fibroids and/or adenomyosis to enable them to conserve their womb for fertility and femininity.

IWD-HIFU活动诚邀全球HIFU中心参与，在2020年3月8日国际妇女节当天为子宫肌瘤/腺肌症患者提供保子宫、保生育能力、保女性特征的HIFU治疗。

This project is also to remind the world that our sacrifice and commitment to care and save lives are perpetual. Despite these difficult times of colleagues sacrificing their lives to save COVID-19 victims, our work to care for patients continue as usual. 

本活动的发起也旨在提醒全世界，我们对关爱和拯救生命的牺牲和承诺永恒不变。尽管一些同行在拯救新型冠状病毒感染者的过程中牺牲了生命，但我们关爱和照顾病人的工作仍在继续。

Themed on Connecting the World with Love and Preserving the Womb Despite COVID-19, IWD-HIFU will be the world’s first multi-HIFU-center event co-ordinated by the tele-medicine service system of Chongqing Haifu Medical.
